Information on the news crawler that appears on the home page of this website is edited at least once a week, normally after I finish printing the bulletin on Saturday evening.  I also add things if someone calls me with something urgent and asks me to post it online.  I try to do this is within a couple of hours, but I can't promise that will always be the case since a computer capable of accessing and editing the website isn't always immediately available.

Meeting and event notices are posted as soon as they are announced in the bulletin or brought to my attention.  They are removed if their scheduled time is past the next time I edit the crawler.  I normally won't edit the crawler just to remove an event notice unless somebody specifically asks me to.

People's names are added to the Prayer List as they are announced in the bulletin.  They are normally removed when they are dropped from the bulletin prayer list unless I have been specifically asked to leave them on the online list for a longer period of time. 

Notices of baptisms, births and deaths of members and their immediate family will be left on for at least 1 month after the date of occurrence, I will try to keep them on for 2 months if the list doesn't get too long.

This is just general rule of thumb stuff...nothing is carved in stone and I will probably bend the "rules" for you if you'll just give me a call and explain why I need to do something differently than I've stated above.
